Spanning the turn of the 20th century, the extraordinary collection of artworks by the lawyer Aldo Ciulli reveals a style of collecting from a bygone era, inspired not by the logic of the global market but by a deep cultural sensitivity and sincere friendships with the artists. 

The collection houses a coherent selection of Realist works that focus on the everyday dimension of the landscape: from nineteenth-century masters such as Lega, Signorini and Palizzi, to the great names of the 20th century such as Carrà, De Pisis and Viani, not forgetting artists with links to the Emilia region. The result is a cultured and independent catalogue, a faithful reflection of art experienced through memory, familiarity and the pleasure of discovery. Between the 19th and 20th centuries.
